Lyn-Arts has been in business for 40 years in Arlington. We recently downsized and are adjusting what we do. We went from a full service art and craft supplier, arts and antiques plus extensive classes to a more specialized shop. (from 14,000 to 1200)
We do extensive picture framing, both custom and ready made (alto the smaller space limits space available for ready made frames) We have great quality and prices which gives us a good artist and decorator customer base,plus our retail customers. We are now into our third generation framing.
The space allows me to have a wonderful studio space for my own art-craft works. I have a small display area for my finished art to sell and hope can add to that space as we liquidate some of the supplies stored here from the downsizing.
I do teach classes on a “private class, by appointment” program as I no longer have the huge class room space that the larger building allowed me. My prices for classes did not go up, just the flexibility. You can find more information on my web site www.lyn-arts.com
We have stained glass supplies and an huge stock of feathers. I did design work for a feather gatherer and about 20 years I also worked closely with a ribbon manufacturer and am heavily overstocked on some great ribbons if anyone needs a bargain on a truck load.
